The Best New Braunfels Texas Events in 2015

New Braunfels Texas has a variety of events throughout the year. We have compiled a list of must-attend New Braunfels Texas events in 2015.

In January, sign your kids up for Youth Trout Camp. It takes place from January 17-18, 2015 at the Guadalupe River. Activities include canoeing, kayaking, fly fishing, guided trout fishing and more.

In April, NB KIDSFEST features over 40 performances by local kid talent, themed activities and vendors of local, youth-centered organizations. The 4th annual event will take place April 18-19, 2015.

The 12th Annual Wein & Saengerfest will take place in downtown New Braunfels on May 2, 2015. The event offers wine and beer tasting, entertainment and activities including live music, a grape stomp, a market, food seminars and activities for the kids. Admission is free and wine tasting is $15 for 5 tastings.

The Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce Business Trade Show is held annually in September. The event is a fun way for businesses and consumers to mingle, get to know each other and generate leads. It includes exhibits, entertainment, food and drinks, door prizes and a silent auction. The Business Trade Show is scheduled for September 15-16, 2015.

The Gruene Music & Wine Fest features Americana music in a fun and relaxed setting while raising funds for the United Way of Comal County every October. Over the years the event has become a celebration for Texas, German and New World wines, specialty beer, food and handcrafted items. The “Texas Tastings & Tunes” event includes over 40 wine and food producers. “Brew-n-Que features specialty beer tastings and barbeque.

Wurstfest is a unique celebration of German culture in November. Enjoy food, music, dancing, rides, German, Texan and domestic beer. There are several music stages, a market selling Bavarian merchandise, a carnival and a beer garden. In 2015, Wurstfest is November 6-15.

Join us for the Annual Wassailfest in downtown New Braunfels in December. Downtown is decorated with over 100-thousand twinkling lights. It features over 40 different Wassail Stops, food vendors and entertainment. Businesses will also be open during the event. Don’t forget to check out the annual Wassail judging contest and downtown window decorating contests.
