What Makes Vintage Oaks So Popular For Homebuilding

Vintage Oaks is the Fastest Growing Community in the Hill Country

In a thriving community where there are many great properties to choose from, Vintage Oaks has stood out during the first quarter of the year with huge growth in new home plan submittals. For the second year in a row, Vintage Oaks, part of Southstar Communities, is the fastest growing community in its category in San Antonio, according to a news story by San Antonio Business Journal reporter Katie Burke.

The community has many distinguishing characteristics, one of the most important being a focus on veterans. Within the master-planned community, twenty-three acres have been designated as a reflection area for veterans.

According to Southstar’s Chief Operating Officer Thad Rutherford, the amount of veteran homeowners in Vintage Oaks is becoming larger due to the special land loans available to Texas Veterans through the Texas Veteran Land Board. The community wanted to show honor and gratitude towards these individuals and have been developing a new amenity called Timber Ridge Park and Veteran’s Walk, which will open May 19th.

What else sets this community apart from the rest? The fact that it is a spacious property located in the middle of beautiful Hill Country. According to the Houston Chronicle, 25 percent of homebuyers that purchased in the community last year relocated from Houston. As city life gets busier, families and retirees alike desire to live in a place conducive to a slower pace of life and a greener way of living.

People are also flocking to the breathtaking views offered. The newest neighborhood in Vintage Oaks, Timber Ridge, is set up in a higher elevation than the rest of the community and many buyers find the scenery and privacy too good to pass up.
