Angela’s 26 years in the real estate industry give her depth of experience well beyond the typical real estate professional.  She has an innate ability to identify the individual needs of clients, pinpointing the perfect piece of land or home to help fulfill their dreams. Before becoming an expert in real estate, Angela gained a wealth of experience in the publishing and retail fields. When not working at SouthStar Communities, Angela enjoys camping, swimming, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her two grown sons and six animals. 

 

 

Born and raised in New Braunfels, Sales Associate and Broker, Brandon Lopez, uses his vast expertise earned over 14 years in real estate and his broad knowledge of “the beautiful Texas Hill Country” to help buyers achieve their goals. Brandon sold vacation condos for eight years before transitioning to property sales at SouthStar Communities and considers himself fortunate to “have met people from all over the country,” he says. “I cherish the friendships and look forward to many more.” When he’s not working, Brandon is spending time with his wife, Tiffany, watching his three boys play sports, or on the golf course.

 

 

 

SouthStar Communities’ Regional Sales Director, Cole Haley, has “been in some form of real estate for most of my life,” he says. During high school and college at Texas Tech University, he gained valuable experience as a surveyor of real estate in the Texas Hill Country. Today, the Johnson City native is the bearer of dream fulfillment, bringing his wisdom and dedication to buyers throughout the Hill Country and San Antonio area. Cole has been married for 16 years and has two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys barbecuing, vacationing with his family, and attending sporting events. 

 

 

SouthStar Communities’ Sales Associate and Broker, Darren Mills, has more than two decades of experience in real estate and has called the Texas Hill Country home since the early 1980s. This gives him a unique blend of personal and professional knowledge, which he ably uses to assist buyers with their land and home purchases. A veteran who attended Texas A&M University, Darren is “married to the love of my life, Christy,” he says, and the two are proud parents of twins, Jack and Amalie. When he’s not working, Darren loves to spend time with his family at the beach, as well as hunting and fishing.

 

 

Broker and Sales Associate, Keith Jackson, has a long history of helping buyers make their dreams come true at Vintage Oaks. Keith’s passion for real estate, the Texas Hill Country, and assisting in finding the ultimate property to meet clients’ needs, is matched only by his experience and skills. After a decade in the industry, he remains as committed to helping facilitate property ownership as he was when he first transitioned from sales training to hands-on sales. When not showing homes and lots, Keith loves spending time with his wife, Melanie, five kids, and his granddaughter, as well as golfing and volunteering.

 

 

 

Terre Collins, a 15-year industry veteran, has real estate in her blood; Her father is a retired real estate broker. Originally from Arlington, Terre attended Stephen F. Austin State University and spent 17 years as a property manager before beginning her 15-year sales career. Today the Sales Associate and Broker loves to spend time with her family, including husband, Jim, and daughter, Annie, as well as their three dogs, two cats, and 24 chickens, and enjoys pastimes such as “boating, cooking out on the grill, having family/friends over, hanging by the fire, decorating, laughing, and enjoying life,” she says.

 

 

Sales Associate and Broker, Viki Wernert, was born in New Mexico but has lived in Texas for 38 years. After earning a BBA in Management from Southwest Texas State University and prior to launching her 20-year real estate career, she co-managed the famous Gruene Hall in New Braunfels. Viki’s love of both real estate and the Texas Hill Country combines with her sincere desire to assist people in making one of the most important decisions of their lives, and is one of the many reasons clients count on her for their real estate needs. Viki also loves spending time on her ranch with friends and family and raising animals.
