Gruene Music & Wine Festival is a Hill Country favorite!

One of the favorite Hill Country events is back this week, with four days of music and wine, plus great food and other activities. The 31st annual Gruene Music & Wine Festival starts on Thursday, Oct. 5 and continues through the weekend. Tickets are now on sale for all four days. The schedule includes:

Thursday, Oct. 5: Kickoff Event

Held at the Grapevine Garden from 5:30–7:30pm on Thursday, the Kickoff Event will feature live music from popular artists Walt Wilkins & The Mystiqueros and wine tasting from five acclaimed Texas wineries, plus The Georges at Gruene Hall at 8pm.

Friday, Oct. 6: Rockin’ with Texas Wine and Food

Don’t miss this evening filled with Texas wine and food at Gruene Hall from 5:30–8:30pm. Activities will include a private show and meet & greet with Ray Benson, a catered dinner from The Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar, and wine tasting with
Fall Creek Vineyards, Kiepersol Winery, and Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards, plus a concert after 9pm at Gruene Hall with Asleep at the Wheel.

One of the most highly anticipated events of the entire Gruene Music and Wine Fest is the silent auction, which this year will feature autographed guitars from:

Saturday, Oct. 7: Texas Tasting and Tunes

This all-day event kick off at noon on the grounds of The Grapevine, with live music on two stages until 6pm. On the Grapevine Stage, catch Beat Root Revival, Charlie & The Regrets, and The Peterson Brothers. The Georges are set to perform on the Gruene Hall Stage. At 9pm, head over to Gruene Hall for a concert from Jack Ingram.

You’ll also be able to enjoy tastings from more than 90 Texas wines as well as food tastings in the "Le Cordon Gruene" Food Alley. Additionally, there will be a craft and gift market.

Sunday, Oct. 8: Texas Craft Beer & Music Fest

What’s better than an entire day of live Texas music?! Performing at Gruene Hall during the Texas Craft Beer & Music Fest on Sunday at Gruene Hall are:

  • Bruce Robison
  • Uncle Lucius
  • Two Tons of Steel
  • Charley Crockett
  • Jamie Lin Wilson 

More than 40 varieties of wine will also be featured during Sunday’s event from 1–6pm at The Grapevine, with a focus on South Texas and the Hill Country. Enjoy even more live music while you’re tasting, from The Powell Brothers, Zac Wilkerson Band, and Seth James Band. You can also gobble up the tasty eats in the "Le Cordon Gruene" Food Alley and shop the craft and gift market.

Gruene Hall’s famous Gospel Brunch with a Texas Twist is a can’t-miss at 10:30am, featuring a buffet from The Gristmill.
