The growing city of New Braunfels is a recreational haven, a scenic wonder, and an incredibly well-located city between Austin and San Antonio in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Take a drive through the park to see exotic animals including kangaroos, ostriches, and zebras, for only $22 for adult general admission. Tip: get there early in the day for the best chance at feeding the animals. They may not be hungry later in the day.
Gruene Hall
Nothing is as quintessentially date night in New Braunfels as an evening dancing at Gruene Hall. Whether there is a dance class or an artist performing, any night you visit is sure to be the perfect date night. Get there early and have dinner on the river at the Gristmill, and don’t forget to leave in time for a stroll through the historic town.
