Those in the area have four days to revel in this favorite Hill Country tradition at the 14th annual Grape Stomp at Dry Comal Creek Vineyards on August 6–7 and August 13–14.
Any two adults can participate in the Grape Stomp, with one doing the actual stomping and the other collecting the juice. The couple that produces the most juice within the given time is the winner, earning the right to have their names displayed on a plaque in the Tasting Room
Lunch including a taco bar, salad, and dessert, plus keepsake keepsake glasses, drink tickets, and t-shirts are also offered to participants. And don’t forget about having your name printed on the label of the red table wine made during the Grape Stomp, which you can purchase in November.
The Grape Stomp is a competition and a fun day for all involved, but it’s more than that; It’s also an opportunity to enjoy a day at one of the Texas Hill Country’s favorite wineries and get a taste (literally!) for what living in the Texas Wine Country is like.
