People are realizing that Texas Hill Country offers some of the most beautiful land in the country. The population of the area is rising as new families move in to start their lives and retirees settle down here to enjoy the scenic landscape and temperate climate in their retirement years. The Hill Country consists of everything from bustling cities to quiet, remote country areas. The key to choosing the proper neighborhood for you is to look at how you want to live, and then match that to where you want to live.

If you want to be in an area full of excitement and growth, Hill Country can offer that, but there are many quiet, relaxing settings where you can get away from it all too. If you have a young family, you may be looking for a great neighborhood in an area with good schools and involved neighbors. Hill Country can meet that need as well. Some homebuyers aren’t sure exactly what they want until they start looking. Luckily, Vintage Oaks’ neighborhoods have something for everyone. Here’s a look at what some of their communities have to offer.

Bear Creek

The Bear Creek neighborhood offers 1+acre, wide, easy-build homesites. It is located conveniently close to Highway 66 and FM 2722. The schools in the area are very highly rated, and the community offers resort-style amenities in an area with no city taxes and natural gas and fiber optic cable access.

The Bluffs

The Bluffs is Vintage Oaks’ newest neighborhood. It offers one- to two-acre homesites with gorgeous sweeping views, perfect for building your Texas Hill Country home. This is one of the most coveted communities in Vintage Oaks, known for its incredible, breathtaking views and stately mature oak trees. In addition to level building sites and greenbelt homesites, this neighborhood offers quick access to Highway 46 and the new entrance on FM 2722. If enjoying nature is your thing, The Bluffs is adjacent to miles of walking trails, with dramatic topography and panoramic views. Schools in the area are highly rated, and there are no city taxes to worry about.

East Ranch

The homesites in East Ranch offer amazing Hill Country views and level building sites. The community features beautiful one- to two-acre greenbelt homesites on part of the original homestead of the ranch owners, dating back to the 1800s. Vintage Oaks is proud of the history and American spirit associated with this neighborhood. The community offers easy access to Highway 46, resort-style amenities, and no city taxes. If it’s a healthy lifestyle you seek, there are miles of walking trails, and the Fitness Club is a short walk away. The Fitness Club offers a lap pool, cardio room, sauna, spa, fitness classes, and other amenities.

The Grove

Homes in The Grove feature smaller lots, so they are easier to maintain. The views still don’t disappoint, however, as the community is surrounded by 100 acres of scenic open space. The neighborhood is very walkable, with rolling topography. The Fitness Club is located here, with cardio rooms, weights and machines, a spa, and a lap pool. There are over 60 floorplans to choose from when designing and customizing your home, with customized privacy fencing and many homesites with backyard views of the open space.

Canyon Ranch

This exclusive gated neighborhood in Vintage Oaks offers one to seven-acre homesites with some of the most beautiful views Texas Hill Country has to offer. The Canyon Ranch community features streams and ponds among scenic walking trails for residents to enjoy the serenity of nature. It sits high on a plateau, which makes for dramatic views and lovely topography. It is close to community amenities, but homesite availability is limited.

Vineyard Ranch

This neighborhood offers lots of acreage on which to build the home of your dreams. Homesites offer five to fourteen acre lots in a secluded area. There are only five remaining homesites available here. They are the last of their kind. There is a seasonal creek on every property, featuring towering hardwood trees and a perfect place for horses. The community clubhouse offers swimming pools, a lazy river, trails, tennis courts, and athletic fields. Other bonuses include quick access to Highway 46 and a location next to Dry Comal Creek Winery.

The Reserve

The Reserve is an intimate neighborhood close to all Vintage Oaks amenities. It offers 1+ acre building sites and cul-de-sac lots amid rolling and terraced hillsides and old-growth oak trees. It is easily accessed by a private entrance off Highway 46.
