Hike the Hills event celebrates new trail, raises money for charity

The words, “Take a hike,” were never as enjoyable as on Saturday, June 3, when those who live at Vintage Oaks and friends joined together to hike the newly refurbished Vintage Oaks Trail, from the trailhead by the main entrance of the community to the trailhead across from the Tuscan Clubhouse, and raise money for the American Heart Association. The first annual Hike in the Hills event at Vintage Oaks brought together neighbors who were excited to discover the newly improved trail and raise funds for this worthy charity. 

Survey among those living in New Braunfels finds strong satisfaction


Anyone who’s already living in New Braunfels is well aware of what’s so great about the city and all it has to offer. Those who are considering a move to New Braunfels may be interested in hearing what residents have to say. The new New Braunfels National Citizen Survey™ (The NCS) measured the “livability” of New Braunfels, capturing opinions “within the three pillars of a community (Community Characteristics, Governance and Participation) across eight central facets of community (Safety, Mobility, Natural Environment, Built Environment, Economy, Recreation and Wellness, Education and Enrichment and Community Engagement),” they said.

2017 Vintage Oaks Summer Concert Series kicks off with Adam Hood and hundreds of residents

Timber Ridge Park was the place to be on Wednesday, May 17, as residents and friends packed the park for for a live show from Adam Hood to kick off the 2017 Vintage Oaks Summer Concert Series. This popular series has become a favorite Hill Country event at Vintage Oaks, with homeowners showing up early to claim a spot on the lawn or under one of the majestic oak trees, kids playing, families dancing, and everybody enjoying tasty food truck fare.

Summer Concert Series Kickoff, Builder Meet & Greet Set For May 17

A new season of Vintage Oaks Summer Concerts will kick off with a live performance by Adam Hood on Wednesday, May 17. The music is set to begin at 7pm, but, if the past popularity of this event is any indication, you’ll want to get here sooner to claim a great spot on the lawn, on one of the benches, or under the oak trees.
