New Braunfels’ charming Downtown is a favorite spot to dine, shop, and stroll, and the annual Downtown New Braunfels Wine Stroll is a great opportunity to do all of them at the same time, while also enjoying wine tastings! Head to downtown tomorrow night, Thursday, October 6, from 5–8:30pm for this free Hill Country event.

“Take in Downtown New Braunfels’ sights, sounds, and shops while sipping free samples of wine at the 12th Annual New Braunfels Downtown Association Wine Stroll,” said the New Braunfels Chamber. “On Thursday, October 6th, downtown businesses will stay open late from 5 – 8:30pm. Drop in and pick up your passport, and don’t forget to get a sample of wine.”

Shuttles will be provided between stops and there will also be drawings for prizes including $50 DTA gift cards. In addition, “Maps and passports will be available at Seekatz Opera House and at the participating stops,” said Downtown New Braunfels. “You can also download and print a map before you head downtown. There are three types of stops this year – BLUE, RED, and PURPLE. All will be serving wine samples and other refreshments.”

This is just one of the many New Braunfels events that get those who are living in the Hill Country excited and engaged throughout the year. New Braunfels is the second-fastest growing city in the nation this year, revered for its strong economy and growing job market, its abundant amenities and natural beauty, its convenience to both Austin and San Antonio, and its popular masterplanned communities in New Braunfels, like Vintage Oaks.

Vintage Oaks is the fastest-growing community in the Hill Country for the past three years and a masterplan that is sought out by Hill Country land buyers and New Braunfels home builders and buyers. This 300-acre community offers homesites in New Braunfels ranging from 1 to 14 acres in gated and non-gated neighborhoods as well as custom and semi-custom homes. Resort amenities include multiple pools, a lazy river, ball fields and trails, and a Tuscan Clubhouse.
