When Texas veterans learn about the special land loans available to them through the Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB), they are, not surprisingly, excited. After all, these land loans can make land ownership uniquely affordable for Texas veterans. But the VLB sets requirements for qualification. Do Texas Veteran Land loans apply to all properties?
The land loans offered by the VLB are unique in that they offer a combination of relaxed credit requirements and a low five percent down payment. This is a great way to make desirable Texas land even more affordable. In fact, the 5% down payment is the lowest down payment available in the state of Texas for a land loan.
