Our favorite American hero, Army war veteran, Dancing with the Stars Season 13 Champion, and soon-to-be Vintage Oaks resident has something new to be proud of. J.R. Martinez debuts his new TV show this week. "SAF3," premieres on the CW in Texas on Sunday, September 22.
Check your local listings for times and channels; in Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin, the program will air this Sunday, September 22, at 6pm. In San Antonio, the airtime is Sunday at 4pm.
SAF3 is Southern California's elite multi-agency task force, which brings together the cream-of-the-crop from Los Angeles Lifeguard, Firefighter and Coast Guard agencies. The series follows the SAF3 team as they answer the most challenging calls and initiate daring rescues in a coordinated, inter-agency effort that is never without drama or excitement.
Martinez, who also made a star turn on All My Children before wowing America with his dancing, charisma, and winning spirit on Dancing with the Stars, plays Alfonso Rivera, an L.A.-based paramedic and firefighter, who has served his country in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Bold and the Beautiful’s Texas Battle and Rocky alum Dolph Lundgren also star in SAF3, which is the latest effort from famous producer Gregory J. Bonann, who made Baywatch a worldwide sensation.
Martinez debuts his new TV show this week on the heels of his recent purchase at Vintage Oaks. Martinez bought two homesites in a gated neighborhood at Vintage Oaks, where he plans to build his dream home in the Texas Hill Country’s premier master-planned community. He was welcomed home to Vintage Oaks by more than 150 of his fans and future neighbors in June during a book-signing event for his new book, “Full of Heart.”
